Using the Smart Dialer

PeoplePC Online's Smart Dialer technology connects you to a high quality, available number every time, so you always have a fast connection at speeds up to 56k.

There may be times when you will or want to change your Internet Access Number, the number you use to connect to the Internet.

Why would I want to change my Internet Access Number?

  • Most US households can dial into the Internet with their PeoplePC ISP service via a charge-free telephone number. For those of you who can't, check back with us often as our network is expanding rapidly towards full coverage of the US.

  • Our Service Providers work hard to keep busy signals to a minimum. We think you'll be impressed. Making sure our network performance is always excellent is a top priority and we are constantly pursuing new ways to improve our capacity. If you do however get a busy signal, try changing your Access Number.
