128-bit Encryption

ATTENTION: Due to security concerns, your browser may lack sufficient security features to access Web Mail.

For your safety and security, PeoplePC's Web Mail will soon requires 128-bit encryption technology in your web browser. All current versions of common web browsers include 128-bit encryption automatically, but some older browsers will need to be upgraded to work properly.

This change will not only affect PeoplePC's Web Mail, but is also important to make sure your personal information stays secure across the Internet. You will find that most secure web sites will soon be requiring 128-bit encryption.

The preferred method is simply to upgrade your browser to the latest version available, such as Internet Explorer 6. Some users with older computers may find that their computer does not meet minimum system requirements for these browsers. In that case, installing the 128-bit encryption patch to your current browser may fix the problem. Please note that this is not a guaranteed solution, as other compatibility problems may prevent the patch from working properly.

The articles presented below will help you upgrade to the most common browsers. Please note that browser upgrades are not supported by PeoplePC's technical support, and this information is being provided simply as a courtesy to our customers. If you have problems with the installation of this software, please contact either the maker of the software or the manufacturer of your computer for additional guidance.
