Sending Email Using PeoplePC Online's Secure Mail Server In order to fight spam, PeoplePC Online is now using a secure email server to send outgoing email. You may need to update your email settings in Outlook Express in order to continue sending email. Note: This should not affect your PeoplePC Web Mail. Who needs to update their email settings? If you are using v5.x of the PeoplePC Online Internet Connection Software, you should update your email settings for Outlook Express if you have not already done so. You can tell you are using v5.x if your dial-up Internet connection screen looks like this: ![]() If you are not sure that your email settings are correct, you can check your settings by following these instructions, or you can run the PeoplePC Secure Mail Server Update below. PeoplePC Secure Mail Server Update You can use the PeoplePC Secure Mail Server Update to change your email settings in Outlook Express 5.0.6 and higher. The secure servers will not work with versions of Outlook Express versions before 5.0.6. If you are using a version before 5.0.6, we recommend that you update to the latest version of Outlook Express.
